This project was for a UX/UI class and completed in teams.
Our team initiated this project by collecting demographic data, along with inquiries about Waze usage, transportation goals on campus, and pain points related to students who drive to class. Our aim was to gain insights into students' challenges with parking and their experiences with navigation apps like Waze or other alternatives.
Following interviews and data collection regarding the transportation situation at Purdue, we developed a KWHL (What I Know, What I Want to Know, How I Will Find Information, What I Learned) chart to pinpoint the underlying issue within the Purdue parking system.
After identifying the root problem, we constructed a persona tailored to the circumstances. Our objective was to ensure its realism, allowing us to factor it into the process design and strive for the most effective solution to address their specific challenges.
To conclude the project, we developed a storyboard for the persona and explored numerous alternatives to address Justin's conflict. Additionally, we provided a detailed, step-by-step description of how Justin could successfully complete his tasks.
Due to the time limit with the class, it was unfortunate that we did not have the time to create a mock for this project. It would be nice to have a mock-up with different interfaces being clickable for this project.
